Spectrum Ledger: Tenney Admits She Sold Out New Yorkers’ Net Neutrality for Campaign Cash

Oops! She did it again.

If it’s a day that ends in “Y,” Claudia Tenney (Spectrum-22) can be found tying herself into knots attempting to distance herself from the cable conglomerate pulling her strings and funding her campaign–she’s failing miserably.

Last week Tenney couldn’t remember how much money she’s been gifted for doing Spectrum’s bidding. We were happy to remind her. Now she fully admits to trading her votes in Washington to curry favor with Spectrum.

When grilled by local media about her campaign being bankrolled by Spectrum, she replied, “It was probably because of the issue of net neutrality…”

REMINDER: Tenney supported ending net neutrality, putting her squarely on the side of corporations over consumers and small businesses. She even voted to allow internet providers to sell customers’ personal data without their permission– which she called “one of the best votes that I’ve taken in the House.”

If she traded her vote on net neutrality for some campaign cash, what did she get for the $9 billion tax handout they received as a result of her vote for the 2017 tax scam?

The people wanna know.

“Failed former Congresswoman Claudia Tenney is now on the record admitting her vote in Congress was for sale,” said DCCC Spokesperson Christine Bennett. “Votes against net neutrality and for $9 billion in tax handouts, it’s clear that Tenney represents the worst of pay-to-play politics.”
