SPOOKY: Scott Perry’s Haunted Month of Awful Press

This Halloween, relive the horror of Scott Perry
In need of a last minute Halloween costume? It doesn’t get spookier than Congressman Scott Perry, who has haunted Central Pennsylvanians with his extreme and out-of-touch positions all throughout October.

To kick off the spooky season, Perry faced backlash for saying that it would be a “colossal mistake” to lower Central Pennsylvanians’ health care costs. Perry’s opposition to extending ACA tax credits is out-of-touch with voters, with nearly 80% of voters saying they support an extension.
Then things got even scarier when Perry made insulting and disparaging comments about Democratic veterans and servicemembers. Perry’s remarks were so frightening that he was called out by veterans, Republicans, and the PennLive Editorial Board.
Finally, just when you thought Perry wouldn’t be able to spook his constituents any further, Perry added one more ingredient to his witches’ brew: He endorsed the $40 billion bailout for Argentina. That’s not very ‘America First’!
