SPOTLIGHT: Nevada Republicans’ Extreme Anti-Abortion Agenda

Nevada Republicans’ extreme anti-abortion agenda is in the spotlight once again.

With the fate of Roe v. Wade hanging in the balance, the Nevada Independent dug into GOP candidates’ efforts to roll back women’s reproductive rights, despite the fact that “a majority of voters staunchly support abortion rights” in the Silver State.

Here’s what Nevadans need to know about the GOP field’s radical views on women’s reproductive freedom and health care:

• Noah Malgeri donated $50,000 to First Choice Pregnancy Services, a sham clinic that has a long history of putting obstacles between a woman and her right to an abortion.

• April Becker wants to end access to abortion and proudly accepted the endorsement of Adam Laxalt, who spent his entire career as attorney general working to roll back women’s reproductive rights.

• John Kovacs proudly backs the restrictive Mississippi abortion ban and believes that other states should be able to follow suit.
