This weekend, Republican Justin Fareed thought he would fool Central Coast voters by backing away from Donald Trump, but all he did was expose himself as a desperate and calculated politician. His too-little, too-late posturing came only after shocking video footage that exposed Trump bragging about regularly groping women without their consent. Fareed did not seem bothered enough to withdraw his vote for Trump when he called women fat pigs and slobs, called Mexicans rapists and murderers, mocked the disabled, denigrated POWs – the list goes on.
What Fareed did was enable a dangerous man to become his nominee. Already this week Trump’s alleged history of sexual assault and potentially inappropriate behavior towards underage girls has deepened. Here is what he has been accused of in the last couple of days:
- Sexually assaulting two women
- Hitting on 10-year-old girls
- Physically attacking a reporter
- Walking in on “half-naked” Miss USA contestants
- “Barg[ing]” into the room while young women were naked
“Republican Justin Fareed’s blatant political posturing is way too little, way too late and does not forgive his longtime Trump enabling,” said Barb Solish of the DCCC. “Central Coast voters will see right through Fareed’s morally bankrupt and political craven lie.”
