Steve Chabot Fails to Defend Reckless Votes Against Ohio’s Infrastructure and Certifying Election

Chabot pressed on his ultra partisan voting record

Rep. Steve Chabot is standing by his record of putting his party over OH-01 workers and families.

When pushed on his vote against the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, Chabot doubled down on his choice to deny Southwest Ohio much-needed funding to improve the district’s roads and bridges, despite him requesting funding from the bill for the Brent Spence Bridge.

“That’s the kind of decision that every member of Congress has to make,” Chabot said

And when pushed on his vote to throw out Americans’ votes right after a violent mob attacked the Capitol, Chabot again doubled down on the false election conspiracies that led to the deadly January 6th insurrection.

“Chabot can try to excuse voting to throw out Americans’ votes and blocking funding to fix Southwest Ohio’s infrastructure, but Ohio families will hold him accountable for using his power to just be one of McCarthy’s rubber stamps,” said DCCC Spokesperson Nebeyatt Betre.
