Steve Chabot Votes Against Stopping Domestic Terrorism

In wake of Buffalo’s tragic mass shooting, Chabot votes against fighting to prevent future attacks

Late last night, the House passed the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act, following the racially-motivated mass shooting in Buffalo, New York. The legislation will set up offices specifically focused on tracking and analyzing domestic terrorist activity at the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice, and the FBI with the goal of preventing devastating attacks, rather than just reacting after the fact.

Steve Chabot joined 202 other MAGA Republicans in the House to oppose legislation to prevent domestic terrorist attacks.

Why?

DCCC Spokesperson Nebeyatt Betre:

“Steve Chabot’s shameful vote to block efforts that would prevent mass shootings and acts of domestic terrorism is cowardly and indefensible.”
