NY-22 Voters Deserve to Know if Cornwell is With them or With the Special Interests
As wannabe Washington Republican Steve Cornwell launches his campaign for Congress, New York voters deserve to know if he stands with them on health care.
Last year, the Administration made an ill-advised decision to no longer defend against a lawsuit that would gut protections for 130 million Americans with pre-existing conditions, explode the cost of insurance premiums and out of pocket costs, and charge older Americans an “age tax” for their care.
Washington Republicans have repeatedly voted to support this lawsuit – siding with big insurance companies who want to charge people with pre-existing conditions significantly more for their health care.
Which begs the question: whose side is Steve on?
“With New Yorkers’ health care on the line and so many families struggling with the rising cost of health care and prescription drugs, voters deserve to know whether Steve Cornwell will stand up for middle-class families or stand with Washington Republicans and their special interest backers,” said DCCC Spokesperson Christine Bennett.
