“STICKER SHOCK”: Virginians Fear Rising Health Care Costs Thanks to Jen Kiggans and Rob Wittman

Richmond Times-Dispatch: Sticker shock: Hospitals say tax credit that keeps people healthy at risk

Virginians may soon see rising costs and less access to care thanks to Jen Kiggans and Rob Wittman.

Reporting from the Richmond Times-Dispatch warns of upcoming “sticker shock” as a result of Kiggans, Wittman, and House Republicans’ Tax Scam which gutted Medicaid while failing to extend key Affordable Care Act tax credits for Virginians.

And a Virginia small business owner even calls it a “tsunami that’s heading toward us” as the tax credits are set to expire and 15 million more people are set to be uninsured thanks to Kiggans’ and Wittman’s vote.

DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Jen Kiggans and Rob Wittman campaigned on a promise to lower costs, but instead are making things worse. Virginians will hold Kiggans and Wittman accountable at the ballot box for ripping away health care and jacking up their costs.”
