Thanks to Democrats in Congress fighting for COVID relief, the U.S. economy came soaring back in the first three months of 2021 and is “setting the stage for what economists believe may be the strongest year for the economy in about seven decades.”
With the American Rescue Plan getting vaccines in people’s arms, reopening businesses, and putting cash in Americans’ pockets, economists predict this economic growth will only get stronger in the months ahead.
“While the House GOP caucus was focused on Dr. Seuss and party infighting, Democrats in Congress worked to deliver this significant relief for the American people,” said DCCC Spokesperson Chris Taylor. “As families, workers, and our economy continue to reap the rewards of the American Rescue Plan – which every Republican voted against – it’s clear Democrats are the only ones leading America back to a stronger and healthier economy.” |
