Yesterday, the Supreme Court rejected Planned Parenthood’s challenge to stop states from systematically restricting access to reproductive health care made available through Medicaid.
Miller, Turner, and Carey have now been given a legal pathway to restrict access to Ohioans’ reproductive health care.
The Court’s decision comes just weeks after Miller, Turner, and Carey cast the deciding votes to pass the GOP Tax Scam that would defund Planned Parenthood through historic cuts to Medicaid, shut down health centers, and undermine access to reproductive care.
DCCC Spokesperson Katie Smith:
“Whether it be in the Courts or in the Congress, Max Miller, Mike Turner, and Mike Carey are scheming behind closed doors to rip away reproductive health care from Ohio women. Miller, Turner, and Carey are jeopardizing women’s health care and are out-of-step with Ohioans.”
