Susie Lee Leads Bipartisan Legislation to Crack Down on Retail Crime and Save Nevadans Money

Bipartisan legislation would better protect local Nevada businesses, improve public safety

Nevadans are seeing walltowall coverage of Congresswoman Susie Lee’s bipartisan legislation to crack down on organized retail crime, improve public safety, and save taxpayer dollars.

The National Retail Federation ranks Las Vegas as the sixth hardest hit city for retail crime in the United States. Lee’s efforts would help target organized retail theft, which cost Nevada businesses $466 million in stolen goods and the state of Nevada an estimated $85 million in tax revenue in 2021.

DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Susie Lee is a bipartisan problem solver with a proven track record of fighting to keep Nevadans safe. Nevadans know Susie Lee has their back, and that’s why they’ll overwhelmingly vote to send her back to Congress in November.”
