| The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the Texans for Henry Cuellar campaign pushed back against a desperate attempt from Tano Tijerina to hide his record on data centers
On Wednesday, Elias Law Group responded to yet another frivolous cease and desist from Tijerina – this time over the DCCC and Cuellar campaigns recent television ad.
The ad, “Good Neighbor” outlines Tano Tijerina’s history of supporting data centers popping up in Texans’ backyards, including his own family’s former plans to build one right in Webb County. Despite Tijerina’s challenge, the ad will remain on air.
Tijerina’s desperation comes as no surprise as public, non-partisan polling shows Republicans’ star recruit losing to Congressman Cuellar by double digits.
DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
“Tano Tijerina can’t hide behind his Louis Vuitton saddle bag forever. Texans are learning the truth about Tijerina – he’s beholden to data center corporations at the expense of working families. Voters don’t want a sleazy politician enriching himself and hiding behind baseless lawsuits to escape accountability, they want the real representation Congressman Cuellar has provided for years.”
