| On Tax Day, Pennsylvania families are reeling from the consequences of the unpopular so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” that prioritized permanent tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy over lowering costs for hardworking families.
Brian Fitzpatrick, Ryan Mackenzie, Rob Bresnahan, and Scott Perry all voted for the cost-spiking, health care-slashing legislation.
REMINDER: Most Americans say the taxes they paid this year are “too high.” The reality is that Fitzpatrick, Mackenzie, Bresnahan, Perry, and their D.C. party bosses gave more tax breaks to the top 1% than to the bottom 80% COMBINED, and their law is expected to raise taxes on the poorest 40% of Americans.
Meanwhile, their constituents are stuck dealing with rising gas prices, out-of-control utility costs, and massive cuts to Medicaid and food assistance programs.
DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Tax day is a reminder that Brian Fitzpatrick, Ryan Mackenzie, Rob Bresnahan, and Scott Perry all chose to prioritize tax breaks for billionaires over lowering costs for Pennsylvania families. Their support for this absolutely awful legislation will be a major reason why they lose their seats in November.” |
