TAX DAY REMINDER: Don Bacon Is Determined To Hurt the Middle Class, While Bailing Out Big Corporations and Billionaires

Tax Day is a potent reminder that if Don Bacon and MAGA House Republicans were to maintain the majority, they would work with former President Trump to rig the tax code to benefit the well-off and well-connected at the expense of middle class families.

The GOP Tax Scam of 2017, which Bacon voted for, was a corporate tax giveaway that gave massive tax cuts to the ultra rich. And on the stump, Donald Trump – who Bacon has endorsed three times – is selling his plan to cut taxes for billionaires … to billionaires. More than 40% of the benefits would go to those in the top 5% income bracket, leaving middle class families with the bill.

Bacon is a member of the Republican Study Committee, a far-right group that has endorsed extending the GOP Tax Scam as part of the 2025 budget proposal.
