“Kansans know they can trust Sharice Davids’ bipartisan record of putting families first and delivering real results, including lowering costs, protecting reproductive freedoms, and making communities safer. Anti-abortion extremist Prasanth Reddy has already proven he’ll be a rubber stamp for his party’s MAGA agenda. He couldn’t be more out-of-touch with Kansans and voters will make that clear in November,” said DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene.

Subject: The Case Against Prasanth Reddy
In November, Kansas voters will have a clear choice between Representative Sharice Davids, a proven, experienced leader who has worked across the aisle to deliver for her constituents, and Prasanth Reddy, an out-of-touch, anti-abortion extremist who will put his MAGA party bosses before Kansans.
Despite the gridlock and chaos in Washington, Sharice has always put Kansas first and delivered real, bipartisan results because she understands the challenges families are facing. Raised by a single mom, Sharice was the first in her family to go to college, juggling multiple jobs to work her way from community college to law school. She dedicated her life to public service, working in economic and community development on Native American reservations and serving in the U.S. Department of Transportation.
That’s why Sharice is working tirelessly to help hardworking families make ends meet by bringing down the cost of prescription drugs, gas, and housing. She’s also supporting veteran, women, and Native entrepreneurs, expanding job training opportunities, helping family farmers, and investing in critical infrastructure projects. And she’s making communities safer by cracking down on the flow of fentanyl and investing in local law enforcement.
Prasanth Reddy, who has spent his campaign largely hiding from Kansans because he knows he’s out-of-touch, will always prioritize partisan politics over the issues that matter to Kansas families. He’s already falling in line with his party even when it would hurt Kansas families, showing MAGA Republicans that they can count on him to enact their agenda of banning abortion nationwide, gutting Social Security and Medicare, and making it harder for the middle class to get ahead.
Reddy Is An Anti-Abortion Extremist
Prasanth Reddy hasn’t tried to hide the fact that he would restrict reproductive freedom and help his party ban abortion nationwide with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the woman’s life. He’s “pro-life,”supports restricting abortion access, and supports allowing states to ban abortion.
Just look at the company he keeps; Reddy is bankrolled by politicians who co-sponsored the Life At Conception Act, a national abortion ban with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the woman’s life that could also outlaw IVF. He’s taken more than $100,000 from Mike Johnson alone, one of the most anti-abortion Speakers in history, who has repeatedly attacked access to abortion, contraception, and IVF.
When Kansans went to the polls in August 2022 to overwhelmingly reject an anti-abortion ballot referendum, Reddy refused to stand up for Kansans’ freedoms. Meanwhile, nearly 70% of voters from Kansas’ Third Congressional District voted to protect this fundamental right and made it clear they don’t want politicians making personal health care decisions for them.
As Attorney General Kris Kobach does everything in his power to restrict abortion access for Kansans, voters know it’s more important than ever to reject candidates like Reddy who support allowing states to attack reproductive freedom and elect leaders like Sharice who will work to restore the protections of Roe v. Wade.
Reddy Will Be A Rubber Stamp For His MAGA Party Bosses
Reddy is already cozying up to his MAGA leaders and doing whatever they tell him to – so there’s no question he’ll be a loyal vote for their Project 2025 agenda.
Reddy is a self-proclaimed “huge supporter” of Trump’s policies, calling them the “right policies for this country.” Reminder: Trump’s record includes trying to repeal the Affordable Care Act and rip away health care from Kansans with pre-existing conditions, slashing taxes for big corporations and the ultra-wealthy while raising taxes on the middle class, and gutting Social Security and Medicare.
And if Trump takes back the White House, Reddy will support his Project 2025 agenda that raises costs on the middle class, restricts abortion access nationwide, and calls to gut the Department of Education, just like former Governor Brownback’s cuts to education that devastated Kansas public schools.
Trump isn’t the only one who has Reddy’s loyalty; Reddy is already siding with House Republicans over Kansans to oppose legislation that would help families. He criticized legislation that’s lowering prescription drug costs and capping the price of insulin at $35 per month for seniors. Then, after Trump ordered House Republicans to kill the most comprehensive bipartisan border security bill in decades so they could continue to exploit the issue for their campaign purposes, Reddy fell in line and came out against the bill.
That’s why Reddy hasn’t *actually* shared any real solutions to the challenges families are facing. He doesn’t need any plans of his own because he’ll do whatever his party tells him to. It also explains why his campaign has been bankrolled by the most extreme members of Congress rather than Kansans.
Reddy is even backed by the Koch Network, who was the single largest contributor to Brownback and helped design his disastrous agenda. They’ll push Reddy to champion the same dangerous, out-of-touch policies.
Reddy’s actions speak volumes; the MAGA agenda will always come before Kansas families. In stark contrast, Sharice Davids always prioritizes getting things done for her communities and delivering bipartisan results.

PATH TO VICTORY
Thanks to her strong, bipartisan record, Sharice Davids has been able to secure decisive victories since flipping this seat in 2018, winning by a larger margin in each subsequent election, including a 12-point win last cycle. Voters here turned out at unprecedented levels in 2022 to defeat a constitutional amendment aimed at rolling back abortion rights, and they will be motivated to turn out yet again against an anti-choice Republican like Reddy. And thanks to her strong fundraising, Sharice will have the resources to communicate her record across the district again as she heads into the general election with nearly $3 million cash-on-hand.
Reddy, on the other hand, has barely gotten his campaign off the ground. He’s failed to have even one decent fundraising quarter, avoided any real contact with Kansas voters, and has quickly demonstrated he’ll be a guaranteed vote for his party’s MAGA agenda.
The contrast is clear: Sharice is an effective leader who’s delivering real results for Kansas, while Reddy is an out-of-touch extremist who won’t think twice about siding with his party to ban abortion nationwide.
