Josh Harder is bringing Valley commonsense to Washington. Josh Harder is standing up to out of control prices by cutting red tape for small businesses and taking on the high costs of prescription drugs. For Josh Harder, health care is personal – his brother was born prematurely with pre-existing conditions and was at risk of losing his health insurance when Republicans tried to repeal the Affordable Care Act. Harder is fighting to ensure people like his brother all across the Valley have access to the quality, affordable health care they deserve.
The same cannot be said for Republican candidate Tom Patti who, as a San Joaquin supervisor, has already let Valley families down too many times. Tom Patti doesn’t represent Valley values. He abused his role as a San Joaquin supervisor, leading to multiple ethics complaints. If that weren’t enough baggage, he was previously arrested on a DUI charge. Tom Patti has made dangerous decisions for the Valley – San Joaquin families cannot trust Patti to do what’s right in Washington.

TOM PATTI – EMBROILED IN CORRUPTION AND SCANDAL
Tom Patti has a long history of breaching public trust. He has racked up multiple ethics investigations during his time as a San Joaquin County supervisor. While serving on the board, Patti has been accused of intimidation and coercion. His bullying went so far he even compelled someone to file a restraining order against him.
Patti isn’t just a bully – he’s corrupt. While on the San Joaquin Board of Supervisors, Patti has been accused of attempting to turn his supervisor fund into his own personal slush fund. In fact, Patti has run into trouble so many times he even proposed getting rid of a code of ethics altogether and tried to make county taxpayers pay for it. Following ethics complaints lobbed against him, Patti sued the county to cover the costs of the private attorneys he hired to defend him.
While Rep. Josh Harder fights for family values in Washington, Patti is plagued by scandal after scandal. Tom Patti has already let his constituents down as Supervisor; San Joaquin families can’t trust Tom Patti to do right by them in Congress.

In California’s 9th Congressional District, Democrats hold a 15-point registration advantage over Republicans. CA-09 is one of the most diverse districts in the country with a district that is 38% Hispanic, 33% White, 18% AAPI, and 8% Black.
