It’s turbulent times in Toledo for Craig Riedel.
Yesterday, in a leaked donor call, the OH-09 Republican congressional candidate attacked Donald Trump saying “I think he is arrogant” and “a different person than me.”
Today, he endorsed the indicted former president and his extreme agenda which includes ripping health care away from millions of Americans, criminalizing abortion, and overturning our elections.
Unfortunately for Riedel it may be too little too late. Both Rep. Max Miller and Ohio GOP Senate candidate Bernie Moreno have pulled their endorsements, with the latter giving a max donation to Riedel’s primary opponent and “fully backing Majewski.”
DCCC Spokesperson Aidan Johnson:
“Craig Riedel just stepped in it and is now failing to clean up his own mess. Republican primary voters are going to have to choose between a two-faced politician and a serial liar. It’s a lose-lose scenario.”
