| The Republican Health Care Crisis continues to stick everyday Americans with higher and higher costs. After health insurance premiums went up by 20% this year, a new analysis reveals that typical health care costs for ACA health insurance is expected to jump another 14% in 2027.
According to new reporting by the AP, one of the largest drivers of these price hikes is the Republican failure to renew the ACA tax credits as part of their constant attacks and attempts to dismantle people’s access to affordable health care.
REMINDER: The DCCC is holding vulnerable Republicans accountable for the health care crisis they created. As more of the public continues to feel the pain of rising Republican-caused costs, House Democrats will continue to prosecute the case that the surge in health care costs lays squarely at the feet of House Republicans – costing them the majority.
DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
“Health care is too expensive and millions of Americans are sick and tired of Republicans’ failures to provide any relief. Voters’ anger at House Republicans over their health care crisis will cost them the midterms.”
