The Stage is Set for a Republican Brawl in NJ-09

Rosemary Pino and Tiffany Burress will fight to see who can race further to the right

National Republicans have recruited yet another no-name candidate into the race for New Jersey’s 9th Congressional District.

Tiffany Burress’s entrance into the race means “Republicans will have [a] contested primary,” setting the stage for a messy and chaotic intra-party fight.

A nasty GOP primary brawl will force their eventual nominee to embrace far-right MAGA positions, leaving whoever emerges deeply out of step with North Jersey voters.

DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Rosemary Pino and Tiffany Burress are set to face off in a nasty primary brawl to see who can run further to the right to earn the support of their extreme MAGA base. While Republicans fight each other, Nellie Pou will keep fighting for New Jersey.”
