| Florida families are feeling the pain as the Ryan-Elijah-baked war in Iran drives their gas prices over $4.00/gallon.
Now, Elijah is saying the quiet party out loud, admitting in a recent interview that he believes high gas prices are the “cost of freedom,” adding that “it could be worse” for hardworking families already getting squeezed.
Elijah’s comments come as no surprise following his comments just last month that he supports the continuation of the reckless war, even as working families foot the bill for energy costs, small businesses pay more for transportation costs, and Florida’s tourist industry takes a massive hit.
DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
“Ryan Elijah couldn’t be more out of touch with Central Floridians. While hardworking families struggle to keep up with rising costs, Elijah has no problem dismissing their pain as a necessary cost. Florida families will leave Elijah behind at the ballot box.” |
