| If you’ve seen Republican Congresswoman Jen Kiggans’ new TV ad, you might be left scratching your head. That’s because there’s a glaring omission: her own record.
As one longtime congressional reporter pointed out, Kiggans’ ad “ignores her congressional record” – an admission that even she knows her own record is indefensible.
Here are three things Jen Kiggans fails to mention in her ad:
- Kiggans voted with Donald Trump 100% this Congress. That includes casting a decisive vote for Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill, which made the largest cuts to Medicaid in history in order to fund tax cuts for billionaires.
- Kiggans has raised costs on everything from gas to groceries. She voted to make health care premiums skyrocket; she voted to spike gas prices and said she ‘couldn’t be a stauncher supporter’ of the Iran war; she has supported reckless tariffs that drive up prices.
- Kiggans has a record that hurts Virginia veterans. She took thousands of dollars from a special interest PAC funded by the payday loan industry, then voted against cracking down on predatory lenders that exploit veterans, servicemembers, and families.
