The American people are overwhelmingly turning against Republicans because of persistent inflation, an unpopular war, and rising costs on everything. It’s why polls consistently show voters prefer Democrats take back the House Majority. As a result, the DCCC is expanding the battleground map across the country, deeper and deeper into red territory.
In full retreat across the entire country, Republicans are scrambling and turning to their sugar daddies to bail them out with a MAGA onslaught of super PAC money. There’s only one problem.
It’s not working.
The Washington Post writes:
Since Labor Day, when President Donald Trump opened up his war chest for the midterms, Republicans have pumped half a billion dollars into competitive House and Senate races.
A month later, the polls haven’t moved in their direction.
Providing some historical context to the limits of money alone in politics, the AP reported:
There’s plenty of evidence that money alone doesn’t translate into victory.

Elon Musk’s $25 million didn’t lift his preferred candidate to a Wisconsin Supreme Court seat last year.
DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
“Turns out having Lex Luthor levels of money can’t save you from the voters after you’ve made all of their lives wildly unaffordable and the Fab Four’s lyrics are as true today as they were 62 years ago.”
