| Vulnerable Representatives Jen Kiggans and Rob Wittman have been trying to deceive Virginians for months.
Kiggans told anyone who would listen that she was sticking her neck out to extend the Affordable Care Act (ACA) tax credits.
And Wittman told the Richmond Times-Dispatch he was working on addressing the issue, saying: “I think we’ll have something on premium tax credits by the end of the year.”
Well guess what? Not only have Kiggans and Wittman failed to extend the ACA tax credits – they have actively voted in favor of jacking up Virginians’ health care costs.
When the rubber meets the road, Kiggans and Wittman do what they always do: they side with their D.C. party bosses and vote for higher costs for Virginians.
DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Jen Kiggans and Rob Wittman are complete and total frauds who have spent months lying to Virginians while doing nothing to address skyrocketing costs. Their meaningless letters and empty statements won’t help Virginians who are forced to pay more for the health care they need or will lose their coverage entirely. Kiggans and Wittman are responsible for rising costs and Virginians will hold them accountable at the ballot box come November.”
