In light of career politician Tara Durant’s announcement that she has entered the race in Virginia’s 7th Congressional District, here are three questions she should have to answer for voters:
- Does Durant support House Republicans’ politically toxic Tax Scam legislation that makes the largest cuts to Medicaid in history, rips away food assistance, and guts rural hospitals – all to give tax cuts to billionaires?
- Will Durant denounce her support for an extreme abortion ban that would undermine the freedom of Virginia women to make their own health care decisions?
- Will Durant denounce Elon Musk’s devastating DOGE cuts that have taken a sledgehammer to Virginia’s workforce and are deeply unpopular with Virginia voters?
