Three Questions Mike Garcia Needs to Answer at Tonight’s Town Hall

Tonight, vulnerable House Republican Mike Garcia will be holding a rare town hall in his district, where he’ll once again refuse to tell voters where he actually stands on the issues that matter to them. In one of his limited open forums, here are three questions that Garcia needs to answer:

• Garcia has pushed for a ban on abortion even in cases of rape, incest, and threat to the life of the mother. As the California GOP continues considering whether to scrub anti-choice positions from their platform in a desperate ploy to help their electoral chances, where does Garcia stand now?

• Garcia has defended Donald Trump, even as the former president incited an insurrection on the nation’s Capital resulting in fatalities and injuries to hundreds of police officers. Where does he stand now that the former president faces indictment?

• Garcia claims to be a fiscal conservative. Is he willing to shut down the government, endangering benefits for veterans and seniors in order to meet the demands of MAGA extremists?
