Three Years Later: Kim Stands With Anti-Choice Extremists, Not California Women

Three years after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, Young Kim remains committed to a dangerous, anti-abortion agenda that threatens the health and freedom of California women and families.

Just last month, she rubberstamped provisions in the GOP Tax Scam to block Medicaid and Affordable Care Act (ACA) funding from covering essential reproductive health care. Despite twisting herself in knots to appear moderate, California women know where she stands.

Kim’s record speaks for itself:

  • She voted for extreme legislation in January that would penalize doctors for providing life-saving care.
  • She voted against protecting women’s access to contraception.
  • She voted against the Women’s Health Protection Act twice.
  • She voted against protecting access to abortion, despite representing a district that supported codifying abortion rights by nearly nine points.
  • She has received an A+ rating from anti-abortion organizations.
DCCC Spokesperson Anna Elsasser:
“Young Kim would rather push her extreme anti-abortion views than stand up for the health and freedom of California women. Californians won’t forget her work to aggressively erode their basic rights when they head to the polls next November.”
