THURSDAY: Trump to Visit Capitol Hill & Force Republicans to Deal With Trump Ticket – Will Scott Garrett Meet With Trump?

This Thursday, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will come to Capitol Hill for meetings with Speaker Paul Ryan, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and other Republican Senate and House Members. In order to move past the denial stage, and come to grips with the damaging reality of running on a Trump Ticket, will Scott Garrett meet with Donald Trump so that he can learn his name and stop calling him “the nominee”?

After Donald Trump won the Republican nomination last Tuesday, Garrett confirmed he will support the nominee.

What does that mean? Donald Trump is The Nominee. Does he actually think that voters won’t know the difference?

Clearly, Garrett has a lot of questions for Donald Trump, given that they will share the Trump Ticket in November.

“With Donald Trump visiting Capitol Hill this week, House Republicans are waking up from a bad dream, only to find that it’s reality. No matter how evasive, vague and downright confusing House Republicans are in their reaction to Trump securing the nomination, the Trump Ticket is real, and it is damaging. Given Scott Garrett’s inability to conjure up his name, he must want to sit down to start ironing out all those kinks on their Trump Ticket,” said Bryan Lesswing at the DCCC.
