Tom Barrett Facing Backlash Just Hours After He Votes to Slash Medicaid [WLAJ]

Just hours after Tom Barrett cast the deciding vote for the House Republican tax scam to slash Medicaid and jeopardize health care for tens of thousands of people in MI-07, WLAJ is reporting that Michiganders – “specifically senior voters” – are protesting outside Barrett’s office “opposing the potential cuts.”

Barrett voted for this bill that makes enormous cuts to Medicaid and SNAP, will force cuts to Medicare, and that gives tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy at the expense of the poorest Michiganders, who won’t forget that Barrett sold them out.
