Republicans followed up on their plan to pass a nationwide abortion ban by introducing two bills that do just that. If Republicans win the House majority, they will pass a nationwide abortion ban, preventing women and girls in all 50 states from getting the health care they need.
Barrett would be a reliable vote for Washington Republicans’ nationwide abortion ban given his “100% Pro Life – no exceptions” fundraising stance. He even tried to hide his extreme view on abortion by deleting a section of his website last month. So he wants to hide while voters will be heading to the ballot box, but the mask will come off if he’s elected.
“Tom Barrett will be nothing but another MAGA rubber stamp on MAGA Republicans’ crusade against Michigan women and their reproductive freedoms,” said DCCC spokesperson Matt Corridoni. “Tom Barrett and national Republicans want to let the federal government interfere with Michiganders’ personal, private decisions.”
