Tom Kean Jr. Has Failed to Lower Costs: New Jersey Families Are Paying $2,000+ More Due to Inflation

According to a new study from the Joint Economic Committee released today, New Jersey families are spending $2,060 more on average on everyday expenses such as housing, transportation, food, clothing, health care and utilities.

Kean Jr. and Congressional Republicans swept into Washington last year with a promise to deliver on their campaign promise to lower costs for Americans – but have done the exact opposite.

• Kean Jr. has repeatedly voted to protect Trump’s cost-spiking tariffs that are making everything from groceries to housing more expensive.
• Kean Jr. voted to pass Republicans’ so-called Big Beautiful Bill, which is ripping health care and food assistance away from hardworking Americans to fund massive tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy.
• Kean Jr. and Republicans let ACA tax credits lapse, causing Get Covered NJ premiums to skyrocket.

The DCCC will hold Kean Jr. accountable for jacking up costs for New Jersey families.
