Tom Kean Jr. Has Officially Ripped Away Food Assistance From New Jersey Families

“New restrictions to the country’s biggest anti-hunger program went into effect on Monday, making food access more difficult for roughly 850,000 people in New Jersey.”

Cuts to SNAP supported by career politician Tom Kean Jr. have officially gone into effect in New Jersey. Experts warn that “about 400,000 households in New Jersey could lose some or all of their program benefits” because of Kean Jr.’s vote.

DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:

“Career politician Tom Kean Jr. voted to rip away food assistance from New Jersey families so that he could fund more tax cuts for billionaires. New Jersey is now feeling the pain from Kean Jr.’s extreme agenda.”
