Days after reporting revealed Tom Kean Jr. would vote against abortion rights in Congress, Kean now says abortion is best “governed” at the state level.
Let’s be clear, this new position means Tom Kean Jr. would not protect women from extreme abortion bans or criminal penalties if elected to Congress. He supports allowing states to ban abortion for millions of women, with no exceptions for victims of rape or incest or when a woman’s life is in danger.
