This weekend, four-time indicted, presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump saluted convicted January 6 insurrectionists and declared there would be a “bloodbath” if he lost the election.
Tom Kean Jr. – who has pledged allegiance to far-right Speaker Mike Johnson, a key “architect” in the attempt to overturn the 2020 election – has stayed silent in the wake of this hateful speech.
He can run, but he can’t hide his loyalty to the GOP’s nominee.
Kean Jr. owes New Jersey voters an answer about why he’s complicit in Trump’s dangerous, violent rhetoric.
DCCC Spokesperson Aidan Johnson:
“Tom Kean Jr. seems to think keeping quiet on Trump’s offensive comments time and time again is helpful, but actions speak louder than words. Kean Jr. has spent over a year pushing an extreme MAGA agenda in Congress, and New Jersey voters will remember this silence and far-right fealty come November.” |
