Tom Suozzi Celebrates Second Anniversary of the PACT Act

Thanks to Suozzi’s leadership, more than 1 million veterans have benefitted from the PACT Act

Two years ago, the PACT Act was signed into law marking the largest expansion of benefits and services for veterans in more than 30 years thanks to Tom Suozzi and House Democrats.

Since its passage, there have been over 1.1 million approved PACT Act claims – having received nearly 1,000 claims in New York’s 3rd Congressional District – delivering:

• More than $5.7 billion in earned PACT Act-related benefits provided to veterans and their survivors.

• Expedited timelines for veterans to receive their earned care and benefits by several years.

• Free screenings for toxic exposures for more than 5.6 million veterans.
