| For six straight weeks, Congressmen Brian Fitzpatrick, Ryan Mackenzie, Rob Bresnahan, and Scott Perry have refused to address the health care crisis they created.
As millions of Americans begin shopping for health care tomorrow during the start of open enrollment, Pennsylvanians will log on and see higher health care premiums because Fitzpatrick, Mackenzie, Bresnahan, and Perry would rather be on vacation than working to find a bipartisan solution to their health care crisis.
Because Pennsylvania’s Republican congressmen refuse to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits, 378,000 Pennsylvanians will face – on average – more than double the cost next year, forcing many to abandon their health coverage altogether. This is despite the overwhelming majority of Americans who support Congress extending the ACA tax credits.
Yesterday, the DCCC released a new digital ad in PA-01, PA-07, PA-08, and PA-10 to hold Fitzpatrick, Mackenzie, Bresnahan, and Perry accountable for their refusal to take action and failure to lower costs.
DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Brian Fitzpatrick, Ryan Mackenzie, Rob Bresnahan, and Scott Perry are failing Pennsylvanians. Open enrollment begins tomorrow, but Pennsylvania’s Republican congressmen are on vacation and millions of Americans will face higher costs – or be forced to go without health care – because they want to shut the government down. They will lose next year because of this cruelty.” |
