TONIGHT: Scott Perry Refuses to Meet Face-to-Face with Constituents to Explain His Vote for the Big, Ugly Bill

It has been nearly 6 years since Scott Perry held an in-person town hall

Scott Perry is set to host a
telephone town hall tonight, continuing his years-long streak of refusing to meet face-to-face with constituents to explain why he is voting to sell them out in Washington.

REMINDER: It has “been more than 2,000 days since Perry faced his constituents at an in-person town hall setting” – nearly 6 full years. Perry has even gone to extreme lengths in the past to dodge tough questions, including running into the woods to avoid speaking with CBS21.

And it’s no wonder why Perry doesn’t want to face his constituents: He just voted for Republicans’ Big, Ugly Bill that makes the largest cuts to Medicaid in history, adds $3.4 trillion to our national debt, raises energy costs, and jeopardizes rural hospitals – all to fund more tax cuts for billionaires.

DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Scott Perry has spent more than a decade in Washington selling out Central Pennsylvania working families, but refuses to come home and meet his constituents face-to-face to explain his harmful votes. It’s clear that even Perry knows his vote to kick thousands of his own constituents off their health care and explode the national debt, all to give tax cuts to billionaires, is indefensible.”
