Tony Vargas not only outraised Don Bacon onceagain, but also surpassedBacon in cash on hand by more than $300,000.
Bacon is coming off his worst primary showing ever, where more Republican voters cast ballots against him than ever before – even after outside groups spent more than $1.3 million to save him from a challenger who raised virtually no money.
Bacon is also losing ground in polling, with an underwater favorability rating and trailing Tony by three points, including losing nonpartisan voters by double digits.
Nebraskans are fed up with Bacon putting his political career over them, consistently siding with MAGA Republicans at the expense of working families, from raising taxes on the middle class to pushing for a national abortion ban with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the woman’s life.
