After Donald Trump kicked off the new year by celebrating his “miracle” efforts to overturn Roe v. Wade, he is now seeking a national abortion ban.
Don Bacon, who endorsed Trump for thethirdtime and is already leading the charge to attack reproductive freedom, will no doubt embrace Trump’s efforts to ban abortion.
Bacon was reported to “prefer a total abortion ban” and has twiceco-sponsored the Life At Conception Act, which bans abortion with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the woman’s life.
This Congress, he voted for legislation targeting doctors who perform abortions and tried to block reproductive health care access for members of the armed services.
