After Donald Trump kicked off the new year by celebrating his “miracle” efforts to overturn Roe v. Wade, he is now seeking a national abortion ban.
Zach Nunn, who’s already pushing an extreme anti-abortion agenda, will no doubt embrace Trump’s efforts to ban abortion. His record includes voting for “the most restrictive abortion ban in the nation” while in the Iowa state legislature and supporting a constitutional amendment that would eliminate the right to an abortion in Iowa with no exceptions.
In Congress, Nunn has voted to allow federal funds to spread misinformation and target women who seek essential health care, and to block reproductive health care access for members of the armed services.
