House Republicans ran on lowering costs, and bragged extensively about low gas prices as recently as a week ago. Now, they’re silent on skyrocketing prices at the pump, with Mike Johnson saying only that the war in Iran has “been a remarkable success thus far.”
According to POLITICO, House Republicans are already bedwetting over these price increases — just not on the record — with one anonymous member saying, “If you are a Republican and not concerned right now, you are stupid.”

“Americans were already blaming Trump and House Republicans for higher prices on groceries and everyday goods. Now, oil and gas prices are skyrocketing with no end in sight. Republicans broke their promise to the American people, and it’s hurting hardworking families just trying to make ends meet.”
