Economists point out that if our nation were to default, it would result in a job-killing recession and spur a stock market crash that would decimate retirement savings.
Speaker Kevin McCarthy and vulnerable House Republicans – who voted for the House Freedom Caucus-sponsored ‘Default on America Act’ – are silent on Trump’s dangerous and reckless orders.
