Voters trust Democrats more than Republicans to handle the economy for the first time in 10 years
As tipped workers complain that their tips are shrinking to recession-era lows, Trump is sinking House Republicans’ midterm prospects by reminding Americans over and over how much they hate his failed economy.
At a rally in Nevada, Trump pulled House Republicans down, creating headlinesthatundercut whatever they have left of a midterm message.
In a rant about his unpopular war in Iran, he confessed that “we may have to send [oil prices] up again.”
DCCC Spokesperson Liam Buckley:
“It’s no wonder Democrats are now more trusted than Republicans on handling the economy. Everyone hates the Trump economy, and the more he talks about it, the more they’re reminded of it.”
