Trump Coy on KKK, Barbara Comstock Campaigns with Racially Offensive George Allen

Yesterday, Republican Party standard bearer and likely nominee Donald Trump refused to denounce David Duke and the Ku Klux Klan. This is the same Trump that retweets white supremacists, calls Mexican immigrants rapists, and excuses the assault of a Black Lives Matter activist. Despite all of this, Congresswoman Barbara Comstock introduced Sen. Marco Rubio this weekend alongside former Senator George Allen who infamously hurled a racial slur at an Indian American campaign staffer during his failed reelection campaign, kept a noose in his office, and was exposed for praising the confederate flag.

“The Republican frontrunner continues to push Congresswoman Comstock and her endorsed candidate to embrace the ugliest elements of the Republican Party,” said Jermaine House of the DCCC. “The Indian American community is the fastest growing minority group in Northern Virginia –  campaigning with George Allen is unacceptable in this diverse community.”
