Tonight during the NBC Commander-in-Chief Forum, Donald Trump was asked why he is prepared to act as our Commander-in-Chief.
His response? Because he “has good judgement.”
Let’s take a look at that judgement:
Donald Trump has said he “loves war” and claims to “know more about ISIS than the generals do.” He has said that “nuclear, the power, the devastation, is very important to [him]” and that he “want[s] to be unpredictable.”
Not only is Donald Trump’s judgement absolutely in question, so is that of the House Republicans who continue to support and fail to stand up to Donald Trump.
“Standing up to Donald Trump and his dangerous national security positions is a matter of war, a matter of safety, and – truly – could be a matter of life and death. House Republicans’ failure to speak out against Trump’s disturbing national security positions is an abdication of leadership and demonstrates that they continue to put party loyalty over the safety of our country,” said Meredith Kelly of the DCCC.
