Trump Overturning Roe v. Wade Has Reinvigorated Attacks from John James on Reproductive Freedom

Yesterday, former President Trump once again bragged about overturning Roe v. Wade, which paved the way for states to implement draconian abortion and IVF bans. Since the Court’s decision in Dobbs, John James has joined his extreme colleagues to restrict abortion care nationwide.

For example, James has:

• Joined a committee that endorsed the Life at Conception Act and other anti-abortion bills that would ban abortion and restrict IVF nationwide

• Voted for a poison-pilled Ag-FDA spending bill that would have restricted the sale of mifepristone nationwide

• Supported overturning Roe v. Wade and promised to “not stop fighting until we end abortion”

• Opposed abortion even in cases of rape and incest

• Said that he is “100% Pro-Life. Always have been. Always will be” and even compared abortion to genocide
