Trump Overturning Roe v. Wade Has Reinvigorated Attacks from Lori Chavez-DeRemer on Reproductive Freedom

Yesterday, former President Trump once again bragged about overturning Roe v. Wade, which paved the way for states to implement draconian abortion and IVF bans. Since the Court’s decision in Dobbs, Lori Chavez-DeRemer has joined her extreme colleagues to restrict abortion care nationwide.

For example, Chavez-DeRemer has:

• Passed two anti-abortion bills that spread misinformation and anti-choice rhetoric.

• Voted for a poison-pilled Ag-FDA spending bill that would have restricted the sale of mifepristone nationwide

• Perpetually lied about her support of reproductive freedom

• Introduced a “useless” IVF resolution that “primarily serve[d] as [a tool] for political posturing”
