House Republicans are falling in line behind Donald Trump’s plan to make food, housing, and health care more expensive for millions of everyday Americans.
Already, community-based organizations that working families rely on have reported their funding has been cut off, risking critical programs, such as Medicaid and preschool, that are “providing health care, housing and early childhood education” and hurting their “ability to pay hundreds of thousands of staff, contractors, and small businesses.”
DCCC Spokesperson Nebeyatt Betre:
“Americans are already struggling to afford everyday expenses, and rather than protecting folks from this disastrous scheme that will hurt working families, House Republicans are gleefully feasting on Trump-branded cuisine and cheerleading their plans to jack up costs on millions of men and women. Pathetic.”
