| Everything is more expensive thanks to Trump’s sweeping tariffs.
Notably, grocery prices are at their highest level in three years – with the cost of food 3.2% higher this August compared to this same time last year.
In addition, the cost of everyday goods like meat and fish, fruits and vegetables, and dairy has risen substantially. Coffee prices jumped 20.9% from the same time last year — the largest increase since the 1990s. In August alone, coffee rose 3.6%.
The American people know costs are rising everywhere, yet Republicans have failed to deliver on their promise to do anything about it.
Meanwhile, the economy remains the top issue for voters, according to a new Fox News poll. That same poll shows Trump is deeply underwater on pocketbook issues — 21 points underwater on the economy, 27 points underwater on tariffs, and 35 points underwater on the cost of living.
