The Nebraska GOP is all set to nominate another extremist Republican for NE-02, as both candidates cheered the passage of House Republican’s Tax Scam that will have devastating impacts for the people of Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District.
Both Brinker Harding and Brett Lindstrom, the only filed Republican candidates for NE-02, cheered as House Republicans rubber-stamped Trump’s plans to strip health care away from more than 23,000 people in NE-02, and gut food access for the 23,000 NE-02 families who rely on SNAP to put food on the table.
One rural hospital in the state has already begun closing their doors in anticipation of these devastating cuts.

“The idea that Nebraska’s GOP would ever nominate some ‘moderate’ who will stand up to House Republicans’ extremism is laughable – their candidates have already bent the knee and signaled that they’ll just be another rubber-stamp for whatever Trump wants to ram through Congress. Standing up for Nebraskans against party politics is the bare minimum – and both Harding and Lindstrom just failed this first critical test.”
