Yesterday, Donald Trump’s hand-picked Social Security chief told Fox Business that “everything” is on the table and that newer generations will play by a “different set of rules,” a clear signal that Trump and House Republicans are ready to put Americans’ hard earned benefits on the chopping block.
This isn’t an isolated incident. House Republicans already voted for the Big, Ugly Bill which Treasury Secretary Bessent admitted was a “backdoor for privatizing Social Security.” They also signed off on Elon Musk’s scheme to hollow out the agency — shutting down phone lines, firing staff, and laying off workers.DCCC Spokesperson Aidan Johnson:
